The free access window and the model id used to reach it are both temporary.

The inclusionai/ling-3.0-tiny-free model id stops working once free access ends on 8/14
Calls made after 8:00am PT on 8/14 using the -free id will no longer resolve to the intended model
Any cost assumptions based on free usage no longer hold after the cutoff

What to do

Switch the model id before the cutoff to keep using Ling 3.0 Tiny without interruption.

Use inclusionai/ling-3.0-tiny-free in the AI SDK until 8/14
After 8/14, update calls to use inclusionai/ling-3.0-tiny instead
Test the model in the model playground or via vercel ai-gateway coding-agents setup before switching

Ling 3.0 Tiny from ANT Group is now available on Vercel AI Gateway and is free to use until 8:00am PT on August 14, 2026. It takes over the free slot previously held by Ling 3.0 Flash, and the model id changes once the free period ends.
